Unique- Valentines Gift Ideas
I always have a hard time buying my significant other something for Valentines Day. I hate to be the guy who always gets my Valentine's either flowers or chocolates year after year without putting any thought into the gift. If you're like me, here are some great gift ideas to show her how much you care!
Personalized Valentines Gifts
Personalized Valnetines gifts are great ways to show how much thought you put into a gift. Be aware, however, as you usually need to order these items in advance to be sure to have the gift in hand when Valentines Day rolls around. Whether it be jewelry, clothing, accessories, or accessories, personalized gifts offer a great gift idea!
Dance Lessons
Why not get a gift you can both enjoy? Dance lessons are not only fun and thoughtful, but you can also get exercise in while you're at it! If you haven't danced together before, it's a fun activity you can both enjoy doing together.
iTunes Gift Cards
Everybody needs a little more music in their lives. That's why a gift card to the Apple iTunes store goes a long way to give your Valentines something they can use! This gift might work best as a supplement to a Valentines Day gift staple like flowers and/or chocolates.
Make Your Own Valnetines Cards
Buying a pretty Valentines Day Card has gotten expensive. Make your own card by digging through the craft box. All you need is a sheet of cardstock or even construction paper and a few decorations. Write a personal message on and inside the card. Dig through some old pictures and find one of the two of you. Cut out a heart shape from red or pink construction paper and cute a whole inside, just big enough to fit the picture. Glue the picture on the card, then glue the heart on top of it. Use other heart shapes, stickers, markers, glitter and any other crafting supplies you have lying around to finish the card.
Homemade Valentines Treats
You're also not stuck with having to buy expensive boxed chocolates. Surprise your sweetheart this year with some homemade treats instead. Dip some large strawberries in melted dark chocolate and allow them to dry on some wax paper. Sprinkle some chopped nuts or coconut flakes on the chocolate before it dries. Or allow it to harden and then melt some white chocolate. Pour the melted white chocolate into a Ziploc bag. Make small hole in the corner of the bag and use it to drizzle white chocolate over your chocolate covered strawberries. You can also make a batch of heart shaped sugar cookies, chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies decorated with a chocolate kiss, or even your favorite brownie recipe.
